Chapter 5 - What Does Having A Good Attitude Mean To You?

The topic of attitude comes up a lot in entrepreneurship.

The reason for this is because not everyone has the type of “good attitude” that can carry them through their entrepreneurial journey. The words “good attitude” could mean different things to different people reading this post, but at the end of the day the principle stays the same and fortunately, or unfortunately entrepreneurship is all about attitude.

That is why today’s blog post is about the type of attitude that I believe you should have as an Entrepreneur.

In the week I was thinking about the kind of attitude I would like to have as an entrepreneur. I had studied a lot of entrepreneurs throughout my life, and they all seem to have one thing in common. They believe that they can do anything. This led me to forming my own philosophy about entrepreneurship, while adopting principles from some of theirs.

My philosophy and advice is this:

If you are a new or aspiring entrepreneur you should have an “I can do” attitude, and you should always know that you are going places. Delete the words “impossible” and “I am going to fail if I try this” from your vocabulary. Work on developing the kind of attitude where you don’t wait on anybody, or wait for the perfect moment, or for someone to be in the right mood for you to get things done.

Always keep in mind that not every day is going to be a simple day, or an easy one to go through because no matter who you are, you will always have some form of challenges you are going through, whether it be with your children, your business, or with your spouse. However, no matter how big you think your problem is, always remember that you have an abundance of opportunities that you can take advantage of. All you need to do in order to take advantage of those opportunities, is to give it your best effort, and develop an attitude that helps you sustain all the body shots you will be receiving.
