Page 110 - Challenging Your Beliefs and Achieving Your Dreams
What is one of the things that is drilled into us from a very young age?
Well, that's easy! Don't swear...
As most people are aware, from a very young age most of us are taught to not use profanity, but unfortunately most of us are not taught how to not use “bad language”.
The type of bad language I am talking about are things like this: I can’t do this, you cannot achieve that, you will never be like this person because you are lazy, if you don’t pull up your socks you will never accomplish anything in life, I will never be as good as this guy, and unfortunately this is a list that goes on and on forever.
This type of bad language acts as the catalyst that fuels our limiting belief structure. If you allow yourself to use this type of bad language in your day to day conversations, you will at some point open yourself up and allow other people to impose their limiting beliefs onto you as well. That is why it is very important to be aware of the type of language you are using, because if you are not careful it could define the type of person you become one day.
Once you are aware of the type of language you use when you are alone, or when you talk to other people, it then becomes easier to initiate a paradigm shift. The reason for this is because once you understand the root cause of a problem, you can start looking for solutions to the problem and adjust your outlook so that it happens less frequently, and until it gets to a point where your use of bad language stops completely.
The thought I would like to leave with you today is that, dreams are attracted to mindset and attitude. If you can eliminate some of the bad language you have been using, you can attract the most ridiculous things in your life.
